Provides information and navigation support for autism and related disorders to families, service providers, and community professionals across BC.
An Autism Support Specialist will help to provide guidance on which services are best suited for an individual's needs. Assistance is available in-person, over the phone or by email. The following is offered:
- Information about Autism and supports for families
- Access to funding and information on how to apply
- Build a support plan
- Find out how to schedule a diagnostic assessment and access support while waiting
- Information for service providers on how to help families
Assistance is available in English, Chinese, Punjabi, and Tagalog; and staff have access to interpreters to support you in over 50 languages.
